Pubcast 194 – Forever Perennial

Today’s show focuses on brews from Perennial Artisan Ales, from St. Louis, MO.

We have three samples of their offerings on the show today, plus a gose from our friends at 2nd Shift Brewing.
First up, Perennial Saison de Lis, a saison brewed with chamomile flowers.
Second, a collaboration saison with The Commons Brewing (Portland, OR) called Meriwether.
To keep with the lighter brews initially, we heading back to our friends from 2nd Shift Brewing in Missouri, and their Greenbird Gose.
Then back to Perennial for their Sump Coffee Stout, which we discover is over the recommended ‘best by’ date, but is still a darn good brew.

There is a ‘bonus’ beer that turns out to be a “stinker”, the Ballast Point Homework series, Robust Porter. Can’t win ’em all!
