Pubcast from The Brit and Yankee – Show 11
March 25, 2007
Another extended break, but this
time because of family matters.
However, we’re back in action again and raring to get back to the pub!
Our Globe
of Beer selection this week focuses on the North-west plains state if Wyoming,
Idaho, and Montana, but we only manage to fid beer from the latter. Spanish Peaks Brewing Co., originally from
Bozeman, MT is featured, and we sample the English Style Amber Ale. Great color bit not an outstanding taste –
it gets a rating of 6/10.

Larry
Simon is a Chicago voice-over personality.
We had the pleasure of interviewing him over a cup of coffee. This is part one of that interview.
The New
Heathens ( http://www.newheathens.com/
) are a band out of New York City, but they have a track called “Kansas Romeo”
that fits our Midwest music theme. We
also talk with the band’s drummer, Eric Seftel about the band and their
upcoming Illinois gigs.

It’s time for more pub chat with
those Dining Divas, Tammy and Bridget from Chicago Bites Podcast. We talk about
several topics, including their article in Podcast User Magazine.
We end
todays shows on a personal note with a tribute to USBrit’s brother-in-law,
Barry Roberts, who recently lost his battle with cancer. An avid golfer, this is a conversation that
USBrit had with him early in 2006, where Barry talks about his golfing life,
and the course he loves to play in Worthing, Sussex, England.
Lingo also talks about how cancer has touched his family, and we appeal to
everyone to spare a few dollars to donate to cancer research.
